We collect information about you in order to assess the suitability of you and your business for our financing products. In the first instance, this information is collected directly from you via our application forms and by you providing us with documentary identification.
In order to assess your application, additional information is collected about you from:
- Databases of publicly available information (eg Companies Office)
- Credit agencies (eg Veda)
- Other secure databases as necessary to verify your identity (as required by the Anti-Money Laundering and Countering the Financing of Terrorism Act 2009)
- Any other agency for the purpose of assessing your suitability for funding.
Your personal information is not shared with third parties unless it is necessary to provide the finance that you request. We will use personal information you provide only for purposes consistent with the reason you provided it.
You may also be added to our marketing database, which is only for newsletters from ourselves and is not shared with any other parties. You may unsubscribe from this database at any time.
Personal information is stored securely in both onsite and offsite storage facilities. Electronic copies are held in our secure servers. Information is kept for the maximum time required by statute after which time is destroyed.
You have the right of access to your personal information, and the right to request correction.
